The ÚTB complex consisted of a group of buildings, underground utility tunnels, and a high-rise tower at the intersection of Olšanská and J. Želivského streets in Prague.
As part of our work, it was first necessary to thoroughly remediate the site and remove contaminated structures that had been used during the construction in the 1970s. This was followed by the dismantling of the high-rise tower, during which demolition work was carried out primarily using demolition robots, manual machinery, jackhammers, and crane equipment. After the remediation work, once all structures were deemed safe, mechanical demolition using heavy equipment began.
The resulting construction debris was thoroughly sorted and recycled on-site. The remaining waste was transported away for disposal.
