We carried out a complete mechanical demolition and site preparation at the former Perla 01 textile factory complex.
The demolition of the former Perla textile factory complex took place right in the center of Ústí nad Orlicí. It was a complex mechanical demolition project, given that the complex contained buildings and structures made of various construction materials. The site included brick structures, buildings with metal frames, as well as wooden structures. The buildings were in varying conditions, ranging from well-preserved structures to nearly collapsed ruins.
We carried out the work using heavy demolition equipment such as special excavators equipped with demolition shears or heavy demolition hammers. The construction materials from the demolition were sorted. Conventional construction debris was crushed and reused to reinforce and level the site after the demolition work. Other materials had to be sorted into recyclable and non-recyclable categories, and their disposal or potential storage was handled accordingly.
The project also included the disposal of hazardous waste from the demolition—materials containing asbestos, mercury, and tar. We disposed of these in accordance with applicable standards and laws.
