Our company carried out the demolition of a building dating from the 1930s, which was located in a courtyard on Staropramenná Street in Prague.
Since the building stood in the immediate vicinity of a block of residential and office buildings, it was necessary to minimize the negative impact of the mechanical demolition on the surrounding area. In particular, this included the characteristic elements of demolition work, namely high dust levels, noise, vibrations, the risk of injury on the construction site, and similar factors.
We minimized all these aspects through optimal work procedures and the selection of the appropriate demolition techniques. The entire area affected by the demolition was sprayed with water during the work specifically to reduce dust levels.
The structure being demolished also contained materials with asbestos. These were handled in accordance with a procedure pre-approved by the Regional Public Health Authority and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
After the demolition was completed and the resulting construction waste removed, the affected site was cleaned up and landscaped.
